The Story About Still

I have always felt a sense of comfort around water, having spent much of my life close to it. This photograph was taken in what I consider my own backyard - the northernmost part of Gran Canaria. In that moment, the stillness of the water, achieved through a long exposure, mirrored the calm of the entire scene, softly illuminated by the ethereal glow of the setting sun.

What I find most compelling is the harmony between contrasts: the angular geometry of human design and the gentle curves of nature. Two seemingly opposing forces meet here, not in conflict but in balance, creating an image that reflects both tension and serenity.

This artwork forms part of a limited edition of 20 fine art prints. Each edition is printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag by a master printer using archival pigment inks. This process of elaboration produces museum-quality prints that will last for years. Each print is numbered, hand signed, and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
