The Story About Renewal
I always wanted to photograph the work of renowned Danish architect Peder Vilhelm Jensen Klint. "Renewal" is my interpretation of his expressionist style cathedral in Denmark.
Rather than simply documenting the building, I focused my lens on the quintessentials - clean lines, measured balance and chose a restrained monochromatic palette dominated by soft whites in wanting to create a celestial, almost dreamlike ambience.
The arch is symbolic of renewal and I made use of each of the archways and passage to frame the light as a metaphor for transition and new beginnings.
