The Story About Renewal
I had long wanted to photograph the work of the renowned Danish architect Peder Vilhelm Jensen Klint. Renewal is my personal interpretation of his expressionist cathedral in Denmark.
Rather than simply documenting the building, I chose to focus on its essence — clean lines, measured balance, and a restrained monochromatic palette dominated by soft whites. Through this approach, I sought to create a serene, almost dreamlike atmosphere.
The arch has long been associated with renewal and passage. In this work, I used its repeated forms and the passageway to frame the light as a metaphor for transition and new beginnings.
