The Story About Immersion

Water has a profound effect on me - its ability to soothe, and create space for reflection is one of the reasons I return to it so often in my photography. In making this photo, I wanted to share the peace I felt while surrounded by the serene landscape. To capture that atmosphere, I used a long exposure, allowing the water to become smooth and silky, blurring the lines between reality and the surreal.

This artwork is part of a limited edition of 20 fine art prints. The piece is printed by a master printer using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag paper, resulting in a long lasting museum quality print.
