The Story Behind Awakening

In this photograph the building has been reduced to its most basic form, a convergence of both vertical and curved lines in repetition. The peaceful curved lines frame the image in contrast to the dynamic vertical lines that energise it. The photographic composition ends in an abstracted outline of a human face turned towards the light, emitting a sense of hope and peace.
